What's Really Inside Our Stainless Steel Cup
Share
That's how our cup journey began. With a lot of research, even more test samples, and in the end: a product we love ourselves.
Before we found our stainless steel cup, we talked to countless factories, negotiated, and compared. Because it was clear: we didn't want an off-the-shelf, one-size-fits-all cup, but one truly made for children.
Size mattered to us in particular – the cup needed to fit well in small hands, be easy to hold, but not look like a toy. For us, child-friendliness is in the details.
The interior coating was also a topic: our cups are electropolished, meaning mirror-smooth on the inside, so nothing settles, nothing smells, nothing gets stuck. And yes: that makes cleaning genuinely effortless (which matters to us as parents too).
The rim, by the way, is tightly rolled, so dirt can't collect and no liquid disappears in the gap. And if the cup happens to go flying – which, honestly, happens fairly often here – it stays in one piece. Because we focused on maximum durability, it's practically indestructible.
If we look in our kitchen drawer today, there's a small archive of stainless steel cups: early samples, failed attempts, near-perfect models. Each one reminds us of the many steps, conversations, and decisions it took to arrive at the cup we're proud to sell today.
