What Goes Into Our Stainless Steel Cup (Besides Drinks)
Share
This is how our cup journey began: with lots of research, even more test samples, and in the end – a product we truly love.
Before we found our stainless steel cup, we talked to countless factories, negotiated, compared options. One thing was clear: we didn’t want an off-the-shelf, generic cup. We wanted one that was truly made for children.
Size was especially important to us – the cup had to fit well in small hands, be easy to hold, but not look like a toy. For us, child-friendliness lies in the details.
The interior finish was also a key point: our cups are electropolished, which makes the inside mirror-smooth so that nothing sticks, smells, or builds up. And yes – that also makes them super easy to clean (which we parents definitely appreciate).
By the way, the rim is tightly rolled, so no dirt can get trapped and no liquid disappears in between. And if the cup gets thrown across the room – which, honestly, happens quite a lot here – it stays intact. We focused on maximum stability, so it’s practically indestructible.
Today, when we open our kitchen drawer, we see a small archive of stainless steel cups: early samples, failed attempts, almost-perfect models. Each one reminds us of the many steps, conversations, and decisions it took to create the cup we’re proud to sell today.
